If you are only starting one defense, and you have NE, I would only pick up another one when they have a by week. I’d use the roster spot for another position (maybe get Wes Welker or Derrick Ward if they’re available). If you’re set on getting a defense, the best pickup on that list is probably Houston. They had a HUGE week last week, and they have some young potential, so they have the best upside of the teams on that list. I wouldn’t start them over the Pats for the most part tho (unless they’re playing an awful offense [ie Raiders, Browns, etc]).

That being said, chances are you are not going to play this D unless NE is on a bye (week 10). So looking at week 10 matchups…. I’d pick up Buffalo. They play Miami in week 10, and they are a good enough defense.

Like I said tho, I would recommend only having one D on your team.
